Insurance regulators have agreed to participate in a property and casualty market intelligence data call to collect data related to homeowners insurance. This data will assist state insurance regulators in better understanding homeowner insurance markets at a state and ZIP Code level, including how coverages and deductibles have impacted affordability and availability challenges.
The Data Call and Definitions and other documentation relevant to the data call can be found in the Resources section of this page. The data call requests data for the years 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018.
Each participating jurisdiction, using their applicable legal authority, requires submission of data related to homeowners insurance. To the extent permitted by applicable state law, your company鈥檚 data will be kept confidential. Participating states collect the confidential information under agreement with the 不良研究所官方, which requires the 不良研究所官方 to protect and maintain the information as confidential. All confidential information shall be protected and maintained in accordance with such agreement and using reasonable security measures similar to those measures used by the 不良研究所官方 for the protection of its own confidential information.
It is the responsibility of the company to verify that the company鈥檚 filings meet the requirements of the data request.
Data shall be submitted via the 不良研究所官方鈥檚 RDC application by June 6, 2024.

不良研究所官方 Members also have agreed to share an anonymized subset of the data collected with the U.S. Department of the Treasury鈥檚 Federal Insurance Office (FIO) to avoid undue duplication of efforts and compliance burdens on the U.S. insurance industry.
